Caitlin Smith

B.S. in Exercise Science – Georgian Court University C.S.C.S. – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist FMS Level 1 & 2 Certified Personal Trainer – National Academy of Sports Medicine
About Caity
Caity grew up a multi-sport athlete, playing softball, soccer, and basketball up through high school. In her first years of college she took an interest in other forms of health and fitness, so she joined a local gym and started doing her own training. Eager to learn more about the field, she decided to obtain her Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Caity worked at the Atlantic Club as a personal trainer for two years. During that time, she also interned at Monmouth University in their Strength and Conditioning Department. There, she worked with various sports teams including football, baseball, softball, lacrosse, men’s and women’s tennis, golf, soccer etc. Enjoying the experience and learning a lot about training with athletes, she went on to obtain her C.S.C.S.
Caity continues to play sports consisting of beach volleyball and indoor soccer. Over the past two years, she has taken on a new passion for endurance sports such as half marathons and sprint triathlons, as well as obstacle course racing. She plans to accomplish her first Olympic level triathlon in 2018.

Shealyn Taggert
Professional Qualifications and Continuing Education:
– Bachelors in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University
– Certified Personal Trainer – NASM
– Flexibility First Academy Basic training certification
Shealyn has been passionate about fitness since a young age, being an athlete her whole life; from recreational elementary sports to playing basketball at the collegiate level. She started as a personal trainer at Golds Gym and Jersey Strong then shifted over to a smaller setting at Figurelli Integrated Wellness Center. She continues to compete in ample races – 5ks, half-marathons, marathons, and sprint triathlons. Her goal is for every client to better their quality of life, help set and achieve goals, while building relationships with them in doing so.

Mary Hauck
Professional Qualifications and Continuing Education:
– Certified Personal Trainer – NASM
– Certified Functional Strength Coach – CFSC
– USA Weightlifting
Mary began her coaching journey at Aspire Fitness in May 2016, driven by a deep passion for helping others discover their strength and confidence. Mary hold certifications from NASM, CFSC, and USAW, all of which support her commitment to providing safe, effective, and personalized training for every client.
What brings her the greatest satisfaction in coaching is making a real impact in people’s lives—building trust, helping clients overcome intimidation, and guiding them to find success in both mobility and resistance training. “There’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing someone grow not just physically, but mentally and emotionally through their fitness journey.”
Personally, she enjoys working with the barbell—Mary’s favorite lifts are the deadlift, barbell clean, and split jerk. She’s also passionate about any training that involves kettlebells, appreciating their versatility and the strength, control, and coordination they help develop.
Outside the gym, Mary cherishes time spent with her children, four grandchildren and extended family. Commitment to her own fitness allows her to run, jump, roll and keep up with whatever the grandchildren have in store. “I’m especially grateful for time with my 94-year-old mother, who taught me for decades that movement is the true fountain of youth. I prioritize my own strength and self-care with regular training, and I love being outdoors, where I feel grounded and refreshed.”

Adam Epstein
Certified Personal Trainer (NASM) | FMS Level 1 | Precision Nutrition Level 1
About Adam
Adam’s life growing up revolved around sports. He still plays baseball and ice hockey in competitive men’s leagues and is the manager of the NJ Aztecs baseball team. Adam also enjoys endurance racing and has completed several half-marathons, sprint triathlons, and Spartan Races. Adam’s interest in fitness came during his offseason training and he decided to turn this passion into a career.
Adam has been coaching since 2017, helping clients build strength, confidence, and the ability to move well in and out of the gym. His own fitness journey started through years of competitive sports, and he still plays ice hockey and baseball in men’s leagues today.
Adam’s goal is to help people use fitness as a tool to live better, more active lives—whether that means keeping up with their kids, excelling in a sport, or simply feeling stronger day to day. Outside the gym, you’ll find him playing sports or enjoying time outdoors with his family.

Jen Long
Jen joined the Aspire team in 2025, bringing with her a lifelong passion for fitness and years of experience as an athlete. Her love for people, combined with a strong interest in movement, wellness, and personal growth, naturally led her to earn her NASM Certification in 2024.
She is especially passionate about proper form, corrective exercise, and helping individuals develop movement patterns that support long, healthy, and active lives. Jen takes great pride in building meaningful relationships and finds genuine joy in watching others grow and succeed in the gym.
Outside of Aspire, Jen is a devoted New York Giants and Mets fan. She enjoys long walks, quality time with her family, and traveling to new places.

Lauren Dabal
Growing up the youngest sibling with 2 older brothers (and a dad with a makeshift home gym in the basement), Lauren was raised in a competitive, sports-centered environment where she learned the importance of consistently leading an active, healthy lifestyle from a very early age.
Before becoming manager of Aspire Fitness in 2021, Lauren was actually one of our long-time members while pursuing a career in specialty coffee. Although she didn’t initially plan to pivot into the fitness industry full-time, the opportunity to work alongside Brian, Adam and the rest of the Aspire Fitness team was a no brainer – being surrounded by so many individuals from different walks of life with the common goal of improving their health and fitness has been a constant source of motivation and inspiration to keep her moving forward both mentally and physically.
Outside of Aspire, Lauren is a (crazy) dog mom, mental-health advocate, freelance portrait artist, coffee hobbyist, podcast junkie, dessert enthusiast & lover of the outdoors.
Lauren joined the Aspire Fitness team in 2021 as the full-time admin and social media manager—a role she continues to proudly hold. Since becoming part of the Aspire community, she has fully embraced a health and fitness-centered lifestyle both in and out of the gym, which led her to earn her CFSC coaching certification in 2024.
While she enjoys working with all clients, she especially values being a safe, welcoming presence for women who may feel intimidated by the gym or unsure about starting something new. Whether behind the desk or coaching on the floor, her mission is to ensure every person at Aspire feels seen, supported, and empowered. She genuinely loves making people feel special and important, because they are!
Outside of the gym, she’s a proud morning person who finds peace in nature, joy in time with her beloved dog Wednesday, and creative energy in the kitchen.
