Unless you’ve been living under a rock (which honestly might be peaceful), you’ve probably heard the noise about the new big, beautiful bill making its way through Congress.
It’s controversial.
It’s complicated.
And it’s easy to see why people on either side of the aisle are fired up about it.
But buried deep in Section 476-B, right between a paragraph about infrastructure funding and one about subsidies for battery production, there’s a little-known clause that reads:
“All Americans shall take personal responsibility for their physical health.
Tax incentives will be provided for those who:
– Buy locally grown produce
– Eat protein at every meal
– Take daily walks
– Maintain a healthy bodyweight
– And lift weights at least 3x/week.”
Sounds incredible, right?
Except… I made that up.
That clause doesn’t exist. And it probably never will.
But here’s the truth:
You don’t need a law to tell you to take care of yourself.
You don’t need a tax break to eat better, move more, or build strength.
You’re already being taxed every single day you ignore those things.
– The tax for not lifting weights? Not being able to pick up your grandkids without pain.
– The tax for skipping protein and overeating junk? That’s your energy, your sleep, your confidence.
– The tax for ignoring your cardiovascular fitness? That’s sitting on the sidelines instead of hiking, playing, traveling, or keeping up with the people you love.
To be clear: I’m not making light of a very real and deeply debated bill.
This has nothing to do with politics.
It’s just a reminder that, no matter what’s going on in D.C. or anywhere else… your health is always your responsibility.
And taking care of it is always worth it.
If you’re ready to take control of your health and fitness, let’s get started today.
