This is the first step on your road to success with your program at Aspire Fitness.
At Aspire Fitness we are not a one size fits all facility. Most of our members come to us look better, feel better, or perform better. Although we all might share similar goals, each individual will have a unique starting point. We’ve all heard the saying, “I can’t give you directions if I don’t know where you are now.” The same goes for fitness.
Everyone moves a bit differently, has their own previous experiences with exercise, and will their own unique injury history. All of these factors are important in developing a program that not only be fun and get you to your goals, but keep you free from injuries.
In your Strategy Session you’ll meet with one of our coaches to make sure we have a clear understanding of your goals and injury history. The second part is what is called The Functional Movement Screen (FMS). The FMS will give us a good understanding of where your starting point is to fitness. It can help us identify your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to mobility, strength, and balance. There is no right or wrong, good or bad, but it does give us great information on where we begin.
All of this information is taken into consideration when our program design team designs a scientifically backed program just for you.
